My research focuses on characterizing parameters of mutation under little to no selection, using yeast as a model system. My skills involve cell culture, DNA and RNA extraction, analysis of sequencing data, genomics, and bioinformatics. I received my B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2015 from the University of South Florida.
I am broadly interested in using genomics to enhance existing technologies and/or find solutions to modern issues. My career goal is to be an independent investigator in a private or government institution. I'm currently looking for job opportunities, particularly in the genomics and bioinformatics field.
