My research focuses on characterizing parameters of mutation under little to no selection, using yeast as a model system. My skills involve cell culture, DNA and RNA extraction, analysis of sequencing data, and bioinformatics. My interests include GMOs, synthetic biology, science policy, and science communication. I received my B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2015 from the University of South Florida.
I am broadly interested in studying the evolution of antibiotic resistance. My career goal is to be an independent researcher in a government or private research institution. Currently I am looking for postdoc opportunities, especially in the field of antibiotic resistance research.
