Assistant to Department Head Born and raised in Athens, Nate holds degrees in the social sciences and humanities along with certifications in legal work and grant writing. He is proud to contribute the Department of Genetics in his role as Assistant to the Head, serving as the unit's primary point of contact for faculty affairs, communications, and operations since March 2020. Previously, he spent three years working for a local law firm, during which time he provided clerical and filing support in more than fifty federal immigration cases.
